Murder farce at the vampire mansion has been solved, and I must say, I'm impressed. Aya took her time with the case. After analyzing the scene, she posed seven questions to the audience before unraveling truth by elimination. This whole charade took place over a span of three episodes, and I have been engaged the whole time. Now that I think about it, there is one thing that went extremely well for our protagonists, but for now I will overlook it.
Visually, it was a step down from the level seen in the first episode, and I don't expect the rest of the series to go above this set level. But I don't mind. The gloomy atmosphere, paired with music I'm still gushing over, more than makes up for it. Yuma Yamaguchi, god bless you. That is somewhat countered by lively choices for opening and ending.
Our travelling trio seem to have made quite a name for themselves already, and I am enjoying their antics. In particular the jokes the bodyless girl and the Oni share, laughing like they've lost their mind.
Damn, so far, everything has just gone right for this anime.

>>7769It really was the best… now I miss it. Manga is ongoing and tempting. I loved that both Hakumei and Mikochi were cute, but level-headed and hardworking girls. Humor was there, but perfectly balanced with their curious everyday life.

As you all know, I am a productive member of society, so I don't have much time for otaku business. But the next arc is completed, and I had a whole lot of fun with it.
The introductory episode was just a setup for London's farce and a few new characters. This time, there's no murder to solve, but rather a crime to prevent. Unsurprisingly, it turns out to be closely related to the pursuit of a stolen body and lost humanity that our trio is on.
Even though I wasn't expecting thrilling action scenes from this anime, well - I got them bountifully. There wasn’t much detective work here, at least not for the viewers. I liked slower pace of previous arc, but it is nothing bad to pick up the speed. All the fighting was intertwined quite nicely with alternating outsmarting between the thieves and detectives. Really enjoyable. The animation was stunning too. And do I even have to mention the soundtrack again? It's the best thing ever.
Go listen to it, sushis. I won't beg. Too much.

Undead Girl Murder Farce was gorgeously cool. Too bad the final mystery was unsolvable for people younger than 900 years. I didn’t understand it when we watched it on stream, barely grasped it yesterday, and only just understood it now while fetching screencaps. It was so satisfying, though.
>>7718That bratty Texan seemed like your type, alright. Heh. Doesn't hold a candle next to a wheelchair beauty, though. And the painter was wonderful, too. I am so sad about what happened to Fatima, the sliced up brownie.
And I so love Carmilla's theme. Yuma, I kneel.
