So, the rules have said since before I got here that bewbz were allowed on /kawaii/, but some users have brought up concerns that no NSFW content was on the board until recently and they actually preferred it that way, with NSFW content being restricted to /lewd/. /kawaii/ is currently the only board outside the hell/lewd category with NSFW content, and unlike those two shows in kaitensushi by default, which makes the whole recent posts section NSFW unless /kawaii/ is blocked.

Should the rules restrict NSFW content to /lewd/ instead of allowing a little on /kawaii/?

I say spoiler all n00ds in /kawaii/

+1 this.

But really, post lewds in /lewd/, that's what it's for

 No.258

I don't think it should be allowed at all, but I'm very new here, so I don't think my opinion is as valid as others.

Spoilering would be okay, but cute and nude goes kinda hand in hand.

The only reasons to keep /kawaii/ NSFW that I can think of are tradition and loosening of moderation. Both are valid reasons.
People need to think for themselves wether something belongs in /lewd/ or /kawaii/, though. The boards serve different purposes.

I don't think they do.
At all.
Here's a cute bunny, would you fuck it?
It's nice when the two overlap, but cute and lewd are completely separate metrics.

Never in my life i read so much wrong

Cute means "attractive or pretty especially in a childish, youthful, or delicate way"[1]

Beautiful means aesthetically pleasing,[2] but is very often used to refer to an aesthetically pleasing female. To amp up the meaning, "beautiful" can also mean "having qualities that delight the senses, especially the sense of sight."[3]

"Hot" means that the person is sexually desirable or attractive.[1] It's true that "hot" can also mean "lustful"[3], but in common parlance, that connotation is much less common.

"Sexy" is similar to "hot," in that it can mean sexually desirable or attractive, however it can also imply some degree of aesthetic or other appeal; it can mean "generally attractive or interesting."[2] That second meaning classes up the word marginally, relative to "hot."

Cute: Velcro and/or light up kid-sized sneakers.
Lewd: Lingerie

Cute is adorable, and adorable isn't lewd
if you find that it does have those two qualities then there must be some cognitive dissonance. You will naturaly lean either to cute or to lewd, and lewd, sexy stuff on yuri thread was prevalent. Those two different concepts aren't rooted from happiness, that's just your personal experience, from what i can tell, so do try to see the difference.

What is love?~

As you rephrased correctly, my personal experience is the leading star of my comment. I tried to express the hard task to categorize in many cases. Something cute is something lovable, that warms my heart at the mere sight. Cute things are usually small, non-dreadful and often offer childlike characteristics like clumsiness or typical face proportions. Hot stuff is where reproduction mechanics kick in, giving me a boner. There is also a third thing only the Japanese seem to understand called "moe", which should be more on the cute side given the targets considered with that term. However it literally translates to "burning (with passion)".

If you combine these aesthetically different concepts in variable proportions, you get my idea of /kawaii/.
> Cute is adorable, and adorable isn't lewd
I read this as "those two are parted and you can't combine them" and I disagree.

then we shall make a new board, /moe/, that is more suited to it's own semantics

 No.268

Any nudes on /kawaii/ should be spoilered, anything with penetration should be on /lewd/
