What ever happened to the sushichan stickers thing?
From the archive:
https://archive.sushigirl.us/lounge/res/964.htmlIs someone going to put this back into action? Sushichan stickers seemed like a neat idea.
No.198
i would totally buy a sushi chan sticker
No.201
I, too, would also be interested in a sushi sticker, or even a patch.
No.202
me too
No.203
We could do it like lainchan, and sell them through stickermule, or try redbubble.
Anyway, someone would have to create new designs or edit old ones, since the domain on most designs of the last thread is false.
No.204
>>203It could be kept as just
sushigirl without a domain; I don't imagine these are really meant for advertising, more of a comfy sticker for us to smile at?
No.205
>>204I agree with this. Maybe they could say
sushichan instead?
No.206
>>205I'm obviously only talking about myself here, but I'd be much more comfortable with a
sishigirl rather than
sushichan sticker. Chan holds a lot of negative connotations among the 'normal' population.
No.207
>>206''keep it comfy~"
I don't really care tho. I would be fine with just sushigirl too. I was just trying to help with the brainstorming.
Just
Sushigirl is particularly good because a google search by that keyword doesn't lead here.

>>207>Just Sushigirl is particularly good because a google search by that keyword doesn't lead here.Big bonus to be honest. Here's a quick attempt after 9000 years in mspaint.

No.212
>>211Either or. It was just something very quickly thrown together. I just hope we get stickers in the end.
No.213
I'd love those images from the "main" page as stickers. The different kinds of food next to boards.
No.216
>>215Yes, like this, and alternatively just the images maybe with a white or black or other colored outline.
No.217
>>216Ah gotacha, I think that would look pretty good as well.

Stickers aren't cheap. After looking around a few places, it seems you're looking at around $1 per sticker for a set of 50, with prices decreasing as you make larger and larger bulk orders. The best scenario would be to organize a group buy.
Alternatively you can order them individually through a site like CafePress, but then they're like $5 each.
No.221
>>218Something that stood out when I looked at those images was how the font on the third image did not fit with the figure.
Compare this to the first image where the figure and font are simplistic or the second where the figure and font are both soft in appearance.
No.222
>>220I'd be willing to order in bulk and ship them to whoever wants, but I'm in Australia.I wouldn't be looking to make any money, just break even but that would require me to put the price up a tiny bit to cover any international shipping required.
>>221They're just some I pinched from the archived thread and changed into a
sushigirl formation rather than
sushichan or
sushigirl.tokyo. I'm open to any ideas.
No.223
>>220Real talk the site redbubble has pretty good prices if you're the one to upload the sticker in the first place. Stickler is that it has to be REALLY high resolution otherwise it'll come off low quality on their printer.
source: I used them for a few custom stickers.
No.224
Make sure they say Sushigirl.us, not Sushigirl.tokyo or Sushigirl. Otherwise people won't find it or won't realize it's a website.

>>222>but I'm in Australia.Yeah, this can kind of suck.
When you are shipping all over the world it may become a problem.
Which is why I restrained from ordering myself, even living in the middle of Europe, Germany.
Apparently you can do designs on Redbubble and order them individually, but it will cost around 3 per sticker and 2 euros shipment.
This way may be better though, since then seisatsu may receive a small amount of money per order, as a kind of donation.
No.235
>>223>>234How much would people be willing to pay for a sticker? I'd be happy paying up to US$5 per sticker. I think that would be somewhat doable.

>>235This. 5 dollars for a sticker may sound a lot but I would be willing to spend that sum on a sushigirl sticker.
This place is becoming increasingly important in my life.

I would love to make more. I don't have any proof it's me save for this macintosh classic that I made around the same time.
I really like the updated version! looks really good and it even stuck with the style! <3 you guys

I could only think "as soon as she finishes I'm going to tell her to sell me one of her old macs"

I'd buy a sticker.

Wew, been a while. I'm happy to front any potential costs for getting this set up on a place like Redbubble, or order in bulk and ship them via snail mail from Australia. I'm willing to take a bit of a loss on this so shipping from Australian won't be too bad for everyone. At this stage though I need a high quality version of an image that I can submit to get made into a sticker; from what I can make of any consensus pic 1 and 2 at
>>218 seem to be liked and also pic attached. If we want I'm happy to order two or three variations so you can get the design you like.
If you post below and let me know what design you want I can begin the process of getting things rolling. I'll aim to start getting things made in February.

I've set up a store on Redbubble -
http://www.redbubble.com/people/sushistickersSo far there are 5 designs available, if you'd like something added post it here and I'll play around with it and upload it to the store. Unfortunately I can't do anything about the white frame that goes around the sticker; that happens to all stickers on redbubble.
Stickers are $2.00USD a pop (6 or more gets a %50 discount). Shipping to America is just under $3.00USD.
I hope you guys enjoy.

>>302Pretty much what the other roll said.
The print itself is decent and they are colorful, plus they look pretty tough but I didn't test them in any harsh environment.
I was kinda meh'd by the white outline at first, but now I think they look kinda better with it.
No.333
how much money do you make from selling these, just our of curiosity?
