I'm not sure what you were going for. If you wanted the background in focus and the cactus blurred, that's a weird thing to take a picture of but if the chair is an important chair, then that makes sense.
If you wanted the cactus in focus and everything else blurred, the focus should be adjusted.
If you wanted everything in focus, you need to use a higher f.stop on your camera, but when you do that you'll need to either bump up the ISO (probably not a good idea because that introduces noise on digital images) or keep the shutter open for longer. Normally if you keep the shutter open longer, you need to worry about blur if anything is moving, but in a still shot like this it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
