I remember seeing a manga screen thread in the past but since I cannot find it anymore I am starting a new one. This one also includes anime and other (VNs for instance).
The general idea is that I love collectiong screens and sorting them into different categories (picrel) and would like to hear if any others here have a similar hobby. Regardless of small or large amount, I would love to hear about it.

I like collecting screenshots but I never sort them beyond anime. Have some manga ones too but they're on my tablet and totally unsorted.

I like to take screenshots but it has become a bit of a problem lately, because I take too many of them and sorting them is a hassle. I was looking at my unsorted folder for last year and it has more than 100,000 screenshots in it. I sort by series like >>4547, but I only really want to save a small selection, so I don't consider it sorted until I've gone through and picked the best ones.
Putting on a podcast and sorting screenshots is very comfy, though, if it's a good series that I don't regret taking thousands of screenshots of.

I don't take quite that many screenshots, sitting on "only" about 34k which are pretty much all sorted.

For most of the series I at least have some memory associated with it, or if not the screenshots stop around episode 1-3 because I dropped it. Then there's pic related, I've got screenshots of Regalia going all the way up to episode 13, but zero recollection of ever watching it.

That's a lot! I don't think I have that many.
I do agree that it's a hassle having a large backlog of screens to crop and sort but at the same time it' one of my favorite activities so I don't mind too much. I have tried sorting by series before but it doesn't cut it for me as I want to send some screens regularly and it can be hard to remember in what context they work. For example I enjoy saving screens of people saying "good morning" so that I can use it.
Speaking of….. it is morning right now!

My manga screens on my phone are much more annoying to sort than the ones on my computer for some reason. Every bit of progress with sorting just feels more futile because I can't get a good grasp on how much I've done already. I also save art more frequently on my phone nowadays which also needs to be sorted.
