So far I only plan on watching the Yuru Camp movie. Too many things in the backlog.
I'm excited for the new Bastard!! adaptation. They even have the infamous slime scene in the preview. The old 6 episode OVA was great, but it jumped around a lot and didn't really finish the story.
I'm still following Overlord and Made in Abyss, so those too.
I'm sure I'll end up watching the Maid show and liking it, even if it's terrible.
Buchigire and Yurei Deco look interesting.
That's already a lot of shows, but maybe one or two out of Yofukashi no Uta, Engage Kiss, Lycoris Recoil, Extreme Hearts, KJ File, and Hoshi no Samidare. There's just too much good anime coming out these days, I can't keep up with it.
Holy shit a new hatamaou I thought it would never happen
yeah that one really came out of nowhere
I watched the first one back when it aired which was distressingly long ago so I may give it a rewatch
I just remember it being really good for actually using the medium well. It had simultaneous conversations, background events, and all the stuff that you can do in anime that you literally cannot in manga due to it not being a moving medium.
I also remember the LN ending with the wrong girl though so fuck that noise. We do get the baby
this season though so that'll be fun.
Yeah the baby in the trailer confused me because I don't remember a baby from season one at all lol
Dumb premise aside this show has surprisingly great direction
And goddamn the girl HOT
When I watched the first episode something felt oddly familiar in the way it was directed. Then I looked up the staff listing and found out that the director is Tomoyuki Itamura known for the Bakemonogatari series from Second Season onward.
The OP is super cool toohttps://youtu.be/AwXRPWmgLbU
yeah, pretty neat
I like the ED song as well
also I should say don't really think the premise is THAT dumb, I think it has actually really good potential as a coming of age/maturity thing, and I would love them to actually explore more of both the characters motivations and emotional states and stuff in between the fanservice. As it stands from just one episode though I am driven to nitpick at it for being a little too wish fulfillment-ey, with how the MC is this super apathetic directionless/emotionless kid and the sex bomb vampire just randomly decides to dare him to fall in love with her or whatever lol
I think it'd be a good premise for a 4-6 episode OVA, but there's only so much a highschooler can do at night, I'm not really sure how this is going to run for a full season. Although there were some more girls in the OP, so maybe it'll turn into a harem or be more about the stories of other people they meet at night or something.
In any case, the visuals are great, so it'll always have that going for it.

2 minutes of shit-talking while their severed arms keep squirting out blood.
Is this that superpowered samurai thing? I usually watch anime original shows but I didn't check it out yet for whatever reason, is it good?
It's a Bakumatsu/Shinsengumi story. Probably written more for women, but it's not a fanservice heavy show so I'd say it has fairly broad appeal. Hard to say if it's good or not so far, 1st episode was basically just character introductions, and second episode is more about world background.
It's got 7 main characters, so unless they get a second season my guess would be that each character gets a 1-2 episode arc about their personal story, culminating in overcoming some traumatic past and awaking the true power of their sword. Then they all come together and help MC-kun defeat the big bad. I don't see enough room to develop a very detailed plot with this many characters. We'll see.
I am liking this season a lot. Made in Abyss, Yurei Deco, and Yofukashi no Uta are my favorites!
LyroReco is fun but it's a little too dumb for me >_<
I don't know how to tell you this but I think your maid might be a shotacon
he did nothing wrong
I really don't think Wazukyan was a particularly bad person. Sure the baby factory
incident seems immoral, but what other choice did he have? Their journey was at an end. The entire caravan would've died of the mizumodoki if he hadn't done it.

Month long delay, supposedly due to covid but probably because of production issues. The new episode's subs are delayed for a week as well but a few people managed to fansub the new episode with the help of the translated manga.
Taking also into account that scanlation drama has happened in the past it's easy to conclude that this series is cursed.
So they only managed to get 7 out of the originally planned 12 episodes done on time? That's pretty cursed.
That's like forever from now the heck
god I wish that was me
she's probably gnawing on it with her teeth
Really enjoyed this season overall. Yofukashi no Uta and Yurei Deco have been my favorites and I'll be sad to see them go
