the only prop poster than comes to mind is "we want you" with the finger pointing. what is your favorite color on a car also do you like big cars or small sporty cars

 No.12388

>>12387
Call me basic, but I like white, grey, and black with maybe a speck of color. I prefer small sporty cars, it has often been stated "the only reason you haven't crashed is because your cars to small to hit", but I love the steering of minivans, not the braking though. Once I get a job I'd like to get a fancy sports car, currently driving a pretty nice second hand corolla.

 No.12405

>>12403
Depends a bit on what you mean since there's a difference between a good setting and a setting that actually has a good story to go along with it
Favorite setting that has any degree of notability is probably either Shadowrun or Wheel of Time. WoT's story fell off a cliff once Sanderson took over and its characterization was always lacksluster, though, so…

>What is your favourite time of the year, sushi roll?
Late summer/early fall. The heat is gone and it gets colder at night. I sleep better and can enjoy the privilege of wearing pullovers again. The smell of ripe cereal is one of my favourites. Knowing that these warm evenings are limited, I can cherish them more easily and revel in the memories I have made during the fleeting days of summer.

Theres so many good ones, all of this nonsense: https://dscript.ca/
Mi'kmaw writing is pretty: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mi%EA%9E%8Ckmaw_hieroglyphic_writing
Chinese combo of sounds and pictures makes reading full of weird puns and poetry once you know the radicals. 我爱你
Japanese has kanji plus カタカナ plus ひらがな plus romanji, so that's a treat.
I think sheet music can be considered a writing system, and writing and reading music instead of language is tops nice…
But if I'm being honest… I really like plain old english letters best because they're the ones I use for reading all kinds of things and talking with sushi rolls!

What's your favorite memory?

 No.14313

When I was young, maybe about 6 or 7 years old, my family's house flooded in a pretty violent storm. I didn't really get how bad it was at the time, the water was about knee-deep (on an adult, mind you) when I got home from school and we had a pretty old house. While my mom and dad were trying to salvage whatever electronics and furniture they could from water damage, they left me and my brother upstairs in our bedroom, with what was essentially a picnic. My brother and I sat up and ate sandwiches, fruit salad and custard creams in bed while our kind-of-busted CRT played old movies we picked up from the charity shop. All the while we could hear the wind howling outside and the rain spattering hard against our window. I don't think I'll ever feel so safe and comfy in what was honestly a very precarious situation again. The house was ~mostly~ fine afterwards, and now I really love thunderstorms.

i really love arataka reigen from mob psycho 100, super excited for the new season and he’s a huge factor for me. i just think his whole character is funny and love how nice he is with mob if you ignore that he’s a fraud and a con man. and studio bones made him really sexy. god please send me a dumb hot man.

I sincerely think Evangelion (the original 26 episodes + EoE at least) is one of the the greatest works of art ever made. The plot is risky and can be enjoyed on multiple levels, the characters are complex and human, and it has an extremely strong aesthetic sense. Despite that the whole thing also has a real human touch that shows up in dumb sci-fi geekery, embracing genre tropes, and silly bits that should be tone-breaking. Anno has a bunch of art movies that maintain an abstract, elevated tone throughout, but Eva manages to be more profound than any of them by deliberately rejecting that distinction and embracing both ends of the spectrum.

What's your favourite topic in maths?

 No.14327

>>14315
Calculus, the idea of dividing something into an infinite number of infinitely small parts and being able to sum up those parts has always struck me as an ingenious concept. Also it's probably the highest math that I ever felt like I really understood, which might contribute. I took classes on linear algebra and PDEs but struggled to do more than just memorize rules.

What's your favorite Flash (or similar browser software) game?

>>14327
It's been so long… You did mention "similiar browser software" so i'd be inclined to say minecraft classic, i have many good memories of all the cool things people did. Oh, how fast years go by…
If you want to stick to Flash… I'd go with Time Fcuk. Heh, i even remember that one time i reeeally wanted to get flash working on android to play it on the go. I also remember really liking Super Mario 63, but all i had at the time was a netbook, so it ran quite poorly…

As much as I like flat screens, my mom had a CRT TV well into the early 2010s, so I feel CRTs are my favorite. I've been on a binge of content made before I was born from the 80s-late 90s lately. I wish I had a CRT again to make the experience a bit more authentic.

I have this vague notion that the scandinavian and swiss places are doing things right… I also like china for all the industry they have, even if I feel uncomfortable with the global haves vs slaving have nots… I still think china has done really admirably in providing technology. Plus their culture seems really cool.
I also like japan for so many reasons of course.
I like canada cause I live here and because we're sorry.
I like america cause even tho they're kinda a big dumb bully they've also done a lot of really nice stuff. Especially their founding fathers have such good mistique. Liberty of the common man and democracy and stuff… and I have a perverse affection for the self confidence and audacity of the 'MERICA! FREEDOM! attitude.
Oh I think russia has a kind of weird mixture of stoic pride and melancholy that is super cool… Oh… there are so many countries and all of them are super cool if you just start learning about them.. ah ha ha… I really can't choose just one I love them all. Sorry for stepping around the question!

Curiousity, no doubt about it.
That which drives you to find things out, go places, ask questions, make friends, learn things. Without curiousity I don't think there'd be many happy moments, speaking from experience since I tend to go through long periods where curiousity just never rears its head. Renders you incabaple of even speaking to people sometimes because everything you say is forced and thought out.

What is your favourite way of spending time with/around people?

Getting a beer! A lot of my most fond memories with friends are all of us sitting out on a porch on a cool summer night, watching cars, smoking cigs, and sipping suds.
