I'm sorry to hear the year has been hard on you, but I'm really happy that I could be part of your silver lining.

I made a pretty big move closer to family, and while I'm still in kind of a transition period I'm excited because I feel like this is the start of a new chapter for me, and one I'm ultimately hopeful for. I also made a lot of new experiences and, especially importantly, I started taking my health both mental and physical a lot more seriously.

As the weather gets colder and we enter fall I'm especially excited to spend more time outdoors, it's my favorite season!

Visited family and went on vacation. As far as hobbies go I've been trying to get into digital drawing and the guitar thread motivated me to pick up the instrument again and practice every now and then. As of now I'm wondering about what else I'm gonna do, I feel like there's a lot of possibilities. Maybe some pet programming project or maybe I'll start dedicating time to make a serious effort to learn 日本語 (potentially combine the two using https://github.com/yuk1ty/sabi ?), I just hope I don't get overwhelmed with irl stuff.

This year has been nice so far. I officially started learning a language I'd been wanting to study for a few years now, and I'm getting back up to speed with the one I'd been learning previously.
I've made some progress in my house and in my garden, I look forward for the next years as the plants start growing and maturing so I can keep on growing it tne way I want it.
Earlier this year I wanted to learn computer graphics but I suck with computers and am not disciplined enough to do my math. Right now I'm looking into other subjects I've been interested in for a long time. I am no longer sure anything I learn will be useful to make a living in the future. I can only hope that I find a way to get a somewhat decent income, though I'm not sure how that could happen at all.

i love you sushis! august and september were pretty bad for me so i posted and lurked here a lot. it helped me feel less lonely after a breakup

my first year at college ended for me late july and i'm unable to continue, so it's just been hard getting used to not having a routine and seeing people everyday. summer was pretty fun for the most part before that. i saw my friends a lot despite us being busy with school.

where i live we only have wet and dry seasons so i wish to experience fall someday! i can only simulate it with pumpkin flavored foods and watching horror movies. those with the privilege of experiencing fall dont take it for granted i would kill to be you.

Autumn has for me a certain characteristic sort of smell that I can't help but perceive as soon as the season begins. It comes along with the cool weather early in the morning, and it really invigorates me and makes me feel all comfy.

It's been an atrocious summer in one of the worst years of my life. The jury is still out on whether or not this is the worst year of my life so far, as I haven't even had the time to sit down and think about it.

And to top it off, I just found out I'm a year late in replying to very thoughtful replies to me. And since every top needs a peak, the thread is past its bump limit.

sounds like a nice summer aside from the heartbreak. I grew up in a place without actual seasons before moving somewhere with them, and it's really neat getting to experience them. I hope you get a chance!

In January I restarted learning Japanese after years of neglect and have made considerable progress since then. My band and me played our second gig in summer. Other than that not much has happened this year.
