Took these ones in Portland.
It's up to about 7" right now. This is more snow than we have seen in years, which is really exciting. The whole city is going to be shut down for a few days now.

Took this in the morning sometime during summer. It'd be pretty cool to see the sunrise from this spot, but there's no way I'm going out early while it's this cold, hah.
I'll just have to wait for another summer. Or spring, maybe.

I took a few pictures from this angle, with varying shutter speeds. I actually like the darkest one the best because I think it's more subtle.

Higher shutter speed for the same shot. You can see more detail but I get the feeling that it's still worse somehow.

I had to angle it down because if I didn't, there was this huge flare in the shot that I didn't want. The autofocus didn't work either since it was too dark, so I did that by hand and I don't think that I got it quite right.

Might want to resize your images if you're uploading them, 5k x 5k is huge and you probably only want such a size for editing in lightroom or something.
Plus some people will have to wait a while for that to load.

I prefer the lighter of these two, they're both really nice but the darker one doesn't show the dark parts of the building well, it all kinda mixes with the night sky. Well actually on the right side of the image the buildings look really good in the darker but on the left they look like a blob of lights.

In an ideal world the sky would be filled with stars or a nice gradient or something to help define the skyline but light pollution takes no prisoners.

Either way these are really nice photos.
