Remember to keep it cozy!

Captchas didn't work. Sticking to janitors while we try to think of something else.

I'm a city dweller who's a big fan of hip hop. While I enjoy the harder stuff too, this place seems like the perfect spot to share the smoother, comfier parts of the genre that I love. Whenever I come by, I plan to share a track or two that I find comfy, and the situations I often find myself listening to them in. Hopefully you enjoy some of what I post!

Noname is almost exclusively for the summer. When the weather is warm and the flowers have bloomed, I'll put on her album Telefone and go for a walk.

Neat.
I've been hearing a lot of ATCQ lately, it's really refreshing to hear something that's not the usual Botches N Monea.

I don't know if meltycannon is that good, but I do enjoy this song.

I'm really digging this sushi, thanks for sharing.

I've been so busy, now that university is back in session! I have to wake up rather early every day, and since I don't drink coffee it can be rough sometimes.

With the weather cooling and school in session, I'm listening to a lot more east coast hip hop. Your Old Droog has some great tracks to start a day off with, and a really nostalgic sound that reminds me of my city.

Does anyone else listen to hip-hop mainly for the beats, the rhymes being secondary?

Man, thats really nice. It's frustrating that I can't listen to the 'lo-fi' style of beat anymore without thinking it's cliche, even though this sounds better than most of that stuff.
This isn't as comfy, but maybe someone'll like it.

I mostly listen to instrumentals so I suppose so, but then again that means that if I listen to something with rapping in it its because I've picked it out for the lyrics.
Here's a few nice things from different channels. There are tonnes of uploads, I'd recommend digging through them

Mobb Deep - Back At You Instrumental

This is the happiest sounding hip hop I've heard in a while. From what I can tell, A-F-R-O is actually a really nice guy too.

 No.441

Maybe like A Tribe Called Quest? Idk if that's the comfy everyone's going for.

This past year has been huge for me, so much to do. Coming back and seeing this thread's still around is a good feel.

Through Noname I finally got into some other names in her scene, most notably Chance and Donnie Trumpet. Sitting on a park bench with Pass The Vibes playing is highly recommended.

The intro to this album always seemed cozy to me. I'm glad they made an instrumental version of it.

It sounds good. Did you make the beat?

I get my beats from steazyaf - a yt channel with many, many instrumental mixtapes. I just edit them to fit chorus-verse blueprint and then record and mix vocals.
If you are looking for some beats, AK420 makes my favourite ones.

Thanks for opinion!

https://youtu.be/hqW9MnmdsAM | Stig of The Dump - Rhite Whino

Couldn't pick any particular tracks tbh, just ended up with these; trying to pull some Foreigners in to help the scene.
