I mostly just felt like an idiot. His rose tinted lives were what I had imagined going in and there I was, watching it in my dark room at 2am during my second year. Failing assignments, avoiding classes, giving up on clubs and completely socially isolated. I couldn't even stand to watch the OP of the show for a few years afterwards because it felt like being slapped in the face. I should rewatch it now that so much time has passed but it'd probably just reopen the wound.
